Slipknot Frontman Lends Roar to “Dr. Who”

Slipknot and Stone Sour frontman Corey Taylor will take part in an upcoming episode of the BBC sci-fi series, “Dr. Who.” According to the report, Taylor and his Slipknot bandmates are big fans of the series, and jumped at the chance to take part. The show’s producers reached out to Taylor in January, when the band was on tour in Europe. The band was given a VIP tour of the “Dr. Who” set, and Taylor laid down some gutteral roars that will be used for a character called the Fisher King, a massive green alien with horns protruding from his body. The character is played by Neil Fingleton, a 7 foot, 7-inch man that is Europe’s tallest and the tallest man ever born in the UK. Taylor’s “Dr. Who” episode is scheduled to air on October 3rd.
