TODAY: David Gilmour ‘Live at Pompeii’ in 2500 Movie Theaters
The film, David Gilmour Live At Pompeii, is showing TODAY (9/13) in over 2,500 cinemas worldwide. In the clip below, director Gavin Elder introduces the film at last week’s gala screening.
On July 7th & 8th 2016, David Gilmour performed two spectacular shows at the legendary Pompeii Amphitheatre in the shadow of Mount Vesuvius, 45 years after he first played there for Adrian Maben’s classic film Pink Floyd Live At Pompeii.
Filmed in 4K and presented in Dolby Atmos sound, David Gilmour Live At Pompeii includes highlights from both shows.
