Slayer’s “Raining Blood” Gets Poetic Reading by Murray Lachlan Young

Recently, British poet Murray Lachlan Young gave poetic readings to lyrics from some of metal’s finest, including Machinehead, Dio, Napalm Death, Rush, Ghost, Rainbow and Black Sabbath. But it was MY favorite Slayer track, their 1986 classic “Raining Blood,” which stood out as the most poetic, prompting the BBC to name it the ‘Most Poetic Metal Track.’ You can listen to the reading via the embedded BBC clip below.
