As previously reported, Chicago death metal band Broken Hope had completed recording their new album Mutilated and Assimilated and had moved to a mixing / mastering facility. Today the band announced that the album has been submitted to the record label, with a summer release date expected. Broken Hope posted the following statement:
“BROKEN HOPE has completed our new, 7th studio album: “MUTILATED and ASSIMILATED.”
The album was turned in to Century Media Records today and it’s expected to be released in early summer. Words can’t explain how proud and excited we are about this new monster we’ve created.
This album, without a doubt, is going to be one of the strongest death metal albums of 2017–and perhaps, it may be the most sonically-pummeling and sick effort we’ve ever done in BH history.
But it will be YOU who decides once M&A comes out and your mind is blown. We can’t wait for the world to hear it.
