VIDEO: Red Hot Chili Peppers Pay Tribute to Chris Cornell
Last night (05/18/17), the Red Hot Chili Peppers paid tribute to Chris Cornell at their Indianapolis concert, when guitarist Josh Klinghoffer stepped up to the mic to perform a rendition of the Cornell track, “Seasons”, a song that appeared on the Singles soundtrack. Chris Cornell was found dead in his hotel room following a concert in Detroit, MI on Wednesday night (05/17/17). The singer’s death has been ruled a suicide by the Wayne County Medical Examiner’s Office, however, Cornell’s widow released a statement revealing that his death was more likely accidental and may have been the result of taking a higher dosage of his prescription Ativan.
