They admitted:

• Domestic policy decisions are made based on what “feels like a good idea”
• No formal cost-benefit analysis exists for major policy calls
• Staff bypass the Oval Office and act on their own interpretation of Trump’s preferences
• Ellisten called Trump “a madman” and said “We’ve got to get rid of him”
