Tommy Thayer: Congrats to Brian Slagel and METAL BLADE RECORDS on the 40th anniversary release of Metal Massacre Volume One. Brian was an early believer in BLACK ’N BLUE putting “Chains Around Heaven” on the original release in 1982.

Metal Massacre showcased the best of Los Angeles’ unsigned acts at the time including METALLICA, RATT, and BLACK ’N BLUE. This special release will be available worldwide on April 22, 2022.
