Val Kilmer Cancels 2018 Tombstone Doc Holli-Days Event Appearance – Holliday – Cancelled – Dennis Quaid to Attend

Val Kilmer will not be attending Tombstone’s annual Doc Holli-Days event, taking place this weekend, August 11-12, 2018. According to Kilmer, a doctor told the Tombstone actor that he could not attend due to “too much traveling and not enough rest.” His official statement can be read below.
Actor Dennis Quaid is still scheduled to attend, serving as parade grand marshal today (8/11).
Val Kilmer: ??“I’m devastated to have to report that my doc just told the Doc he couldn’t attend his own Doc Holli-days event. Too much traveling and not enough rest he says. Such a disappointment. I was so looking forward to seeing all you devoted Tombstone fans – the great outfits, re-enactments.. ?? Good news is my team still made the trip so I’ll be there in spirit. Don’t give them a hard time, they’re just as mad as me, but look forward to having Dennis Quaid all to yourselves! Have a ball around town, his band is great!
And for the good folks who got rained out last year, come by our booth for a special gift.”
On August 8th, Val wrote: “?Having fun in Tombstone Arizona. See you this weekend.”
