Thurston Moore Announces New Solo Album, Listen to 1st Single + 2017 Tour Dates
Thurston Moore announced his new solo record, Rock n’ Roll Consciousness, available April 28th via Caroline International. The former Sonic Youth vocalist/guitarist also premiered his new video for the album’s first single, “Smoke of Dreams” (view below). Rock n’ Roll Consciousness once again features Sonic Youth drummer Steve Shelley, who played on Moore’s 2014 album The Best Day, while Debbie Googe from My Bloody Valentine handles bass duties. This month, Moore also released his tour itinerary, a list of those dates have been posted as well.
