Ryan Adams, “My Heart Is Broken” RIP Neal Casal Dies

Ryan Adams: Oh man.
My heart is broken
What an honor to have known you, true believer. I love you. Go easy
“I’ve seen things you people wouldn’t believe. I watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhäuser Gate. All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain”

I am so humbled, so grateful, so honored for every moment when I was having occular migrant seizures onstage, and only Neal saw.
He would walk over and give me this look.. “you can do it, Ryan”
My fingers locked in a seizure.

The sad truth is that most fans of musicians expect music to save and fulfill the musician's life. As our careers roll on, this idea is loaded. Although we are all willing to be underpaid by listeners for our work to be heard, the burden is on our families to keep us alive. – I

What a tragedy. As a guest of our buddy, Todd Snider, last year, fronting Hard Working Americans, my wife and I hung out afterwards and loved Neal.
His playing and vibes were a thing of beauty. We’re heartbroken. RIP https://t.co/QyX4tAqIAK— Richard Lewis (@TheRichardLewis) August 28, 2019
