Poison Cancels Nashville Show at Nissan Stadium After Bret Michaels Tests Positive for COVID – 2022 – The Stadium Tour – Statement – Jacksonville

Bret Michaels – (UPDATE 7/5):
St. Louis, I love you & want to thank you all for your incredible amount of well wishes and prayers.
Although I am not fully recovered from my medical setback, I’m going to be on that stage tonight and give all I’ve got for as long as I got. Unfortunately, to save up the energy for the show, I will not be able to do one of my favorite things which is meeting, greeting and hanging with the fans at the VIP. But all the other guys will be there and it will be a lot of fun.
I encourage you to enjoy the meet & greet and the show. Thank you for being patient with me as I make a full recovery! St. Louis rocks.
Bret Michaels – (UPDATE 7/2):
Statement regarding Saturday July 2, 2022, Jacksonville, Florida Stadium Tour Show @ TIAA Bank Field.
To all my friends in Jacksonville,
In light of my recent medical situation & treatment, I’m very excited to try to bring all the positive energy, vocals and give you all that I have on stage tonight. I promise, as always, to do the best I can and to give you all I got.
As for the awesome Poison meet & greet, you know I always give 1000% both during the meet and greet and on stage. Doctors have highly recommended that I continue to rest and try to save all the energy I can for the show.
Therefore, I will not be able to be at the meet and greet this evening. I encourage you to go see the other guys and enjoy the meet and greet. Thank you for all your well wishes and understanding. Florida, you know I love you.
Bret Michaels – (UPDATE 7/1):
There are not enough words of thanks & gratitude for the well wishes from family, friends & fans. Can’t thank enough Nashville’s incredible & determined medical staff who helped me as you can see with several IV sites to run tests & administer fluids. I’m determined to try to rock Jacksonville & return for a Nashville show someday soon.
