Peter Criss in the early days of KISS

Legendary drummer Peter Criss began his illustrious career as KISS’s backbone using a Ludwig kit, before switching to Pearl late in 1974. He would continue to use a black and silver Pearl set for several years before switching to a Drum Workshop(DW) kit, which he has used ever since except for the 2012 KISS reunion. Criss wanted to stick with his beloved DWs on that tour, but the band insisted that they all use the same equipment as they did back in the day. As for cymbals, Criss has always preferred Zildjian, while Pro-Mark makes his weapon of choice for pounding the skins. As for the skins themselves, the Catman has always preferred heads from Remo.
