Lita Ford ‘Holy Diver’ Guitar Raises Money for Dio Cancer Fund
This ‘Holy Diver’ guitar recently hit the stage in the hands of Lita Ford at the Rock For Ronnie event.
Customized by Cara Guitars, the instrument was built to honor Ronnie James Dio’s legacy, then auctioned off right after Lita’s set. The photo from the event shows the guitar with its new owner, a fan who walked away with a unique piece of metal history and helped push the fundraiser over the top in the process.
The Rock For Ronnie event raised more than $125,000 for the Ronnie James Dio Stand Up and Shout Cancer Fund, another reminder that the metal community can still come together around the music and turn that energy into something tangible and life‑changing.
