Lazuli Singer Hospitalized=Fish Support Gigs Cancelled, London, Cambridge
French progressive rock band Lazuli have cancelled their support gigs – opening for ex-Marillion frontman Fish – after vocalist Dominique Leonetti was taken to a nearby hospital due to an unspecified illness.
About the cancellation, Fish said: “Regret to announce the Lazuli support gig is cancelled as are all their shows with me in London and Cambridge. Domi (Dominique Leonetti), their singer has been struck down with a bad illness and is on his way to a French hospital tonight. It’s a very sad parting and we are all disappointed that they can’t continue. My shows are unaffected and we will be onstage at 9 tonight and for next shows. Doris Brendel’s band will support on Sunday and at Cambridge.”
