Jack White & Jack Black Recorded A Brand New Song – Tenacious D

Jack Black and his band Tenacious D didn’t leave Nashville last weekend without fueling the legend — errrr, overplayed joke — that he and Jack White should form a band … and call it “Jack Grey.”

Performing Sunday night at Ascend Amphitheater, Black thanked White before The D’s encore, teasing a potential collaboration from the “School of Rock” actor and modern rock ‘n’ roll torchbearer.

“Jack White,” Black said, “we went over to his house today and recorded a brand new song.”
