Dee Snider, “My mother, Marguerite Snider, died in her sleep”

In a social media post, Twisted Sister vocalist Dee Snider confirmed the death of his mom, who passed away as a result of injuries she sustained after being struck by a car in October 2017.
Dee Snider: “Since so many people continue to ask about my mom’s health on social media I have no choice but to respond in kind: My mother, Marguerite Snider, died in her sleep on January 2nd after struggling for the past two months since the car hit her. Rest in peace, Mom. I love you.”
In late October, the singer posted: “My 86 year old mother was hit by a car today. Bad. She’s in critical condition in an induced coma. Head injury.”

“My unconscious mother is so broken by the car that hit her she’s unrecognizable. Terrible. But when I held her hand, I knew it was my mom.”
Post from November 9th:
“I want to thank you all for the outpouring of love, prayers & positive thoughts you have given for my ailing mother. I’ve been giving regular updates, but the time has come to stop. My mom has a long road of healing ahead & it’s time for family privacy. Thanks to you all again.”
