David Letterman to Induct Pearl Jam Due to Neil Young’s “Illness”

Neil Young will not induct Pearl Jam at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame ceremony on April 7th, due to an unspecified illness. Taking Young’s place will be longtime fan David Letterman. The official statement can be read below.

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Statement:
“Due to illness, Neil Young is regrettably no longer able to induct Pearl Jam at this Year’s Induction Ceremony. The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame is thrilled that David Letterman has agreed to induct the band this Friday night at the 32nd Annual Induction Ceremony. We’re wishing Neil a speedy recovery.”
