Ex-Howard Stern Sidekick Artie Lange Arrested for Drug Possession

Artie Lange was arrested for drug possession, after allegedly being found with drugs in the parking garage of his apartment building.  Police officers said they found cocaine, heroin and drug paraphernalia on Lange as well as in his car. The comedian has had a well-documented and self-admitted battle with drug addiction.

The former Howard Stern sidekick has recently been featured on HBO’s new comedy series, ‘Crashing’, starring Peter Holmes and produced by Judd Apatow. Lange plays himself, acting as a mentor to Holmes’ character who is trying to make it as a stand-up comic.

Yesterday, Lange confronted the arrest through a series of Tweets which can be viewed below.
