“Sam T. Serpent Made His Debut With KISS On The LOVE GUN Tour”

Bob Nash: In 1977, Sam T. Serpent made his debut with KISS on the LOVE GUN tour. Gene took a liking to his new smoke-spewing reptilian friend immediately. On stage, the two were inseparable. For those of you that didn’t know, Sam provided the flame for Gene’s fire-breathing torch.#70sKISS

Just my opinion, but in the 70’s, Gene Simmons’ blood routine was more effective and menacing than it is today. It provoked a sense of awe and danger with just the perfect amount of horror. It was more than just entertainment. It had shock value. Am I wrong? #70sKISS pic.twitter.com/ZoYUFKjlzx

Here’s a short list of what makes this photo full of KISS awesomeness:
1. It’s Gene Simmons.
2. It’s the 7th time Gene set his hair on fire.
3. It’s the last time Gene would wear his horns. (The horns pushed his hair forward during the fire breathing routine).
4. It’s #70sKISS. pic.twitter.com/mAmah53Qs9— Bob Nash (@bob_robertnash) August 14, 2019

Did you know that at the time of this photo shoot KISS’ third studio album was originally titled “KISS At Midnight” and not “Dressed To Kill”? Don’t know about you, but I’m glad they changed it. #70sKISS pic.twitter.com/6n33KlcBvh
