Flotsam and Jetsam’s debut full‑length was released through Metal Blade Records and quickly became a landmark in 80s thrash, not only for its ambitious, prog‑tinged songwriting but also as the only Flotsam and Jetsam studio album to feature bassist Jason Newsted before he left to join Metallica.
