Jeff Waters: “Slayer show Laval was mind-blowing. Unreal. As some of my friends know, my top 3 bands of all time are Van Halen, Slayer & ACDC… in that order. Sad to see them for possibly the last time but they earned the retirement and influenced so many musicians and fans out there for so many years. I can’t even put it into words. Add to that, having Gary Holt (Legendary Riff-Lord) give you and your friend a full-on All Access pass?!?!?! WOW! Best night ever. Thanks tons to Gary Holt, Malta (Behemoth’s incredible FOH and ours, when he is not touring with Behemoth!), to all the bands and crew on this tour that were so cool backstage and to Angie! This is also the best tour i have ever seen for the “package” with Behemoth, Anthrax, Testament and LOG… thanks to Slayer for the memories, influence, help through tough and confusing times and for their dedication to making the same type of music without wavering…. for all this time!”
