Amazon Launches Streaming Service In UK

Amazon announced Tuesday it has made its online music streaming service available to Prime members in the UK. Previously available only in the US, the service features a catalog of over amillion songs and hundreds of curated playlists. British Prime members, who pay an annual subscription fee of 79 pounds, can stream unlimited tracks and even download their favorites, creating their own personal library which can be played offline. While not as extensive as the catalogs of streaming leaders like Spotify and Apple Music, Amazon’s music service does feature hit tracks from artists like One Direction, George Ezra and Ella Henderson, as well as classic tracks from iconic artists like Madonna, David Bowie and Bob Dylan.
