Marty Friedman on Chocolat Veil, “If you’re in Japan, you gotta try this chocolate!”

Marty Friedman: “If you’re in Japan, you gotta try this chocolate! Nothing like it anywhere. Amazing texture…”
Chocolat Veil
Marty Friedman began his career as a Shrapnel Records solo recording artist and later joined forces with Jason Becker (David Lee Roth) to form the guitar duo, Cacophony. Amassing worldwide acclaim as a guitar hero, he soon came to the attention of Megadeth frontman Dave Mustaine, who teamed with Friedman to record Megadeth’s ‘Platinum’ certified, Rust in Peace. The pair would go on to record four more studio albums together. Friedman has continued to record solo records, often embarking on adventurous musical forays far removed from his work with the group, including an album with Golden Globe winner Kitaro.
Originally from Washington D.C., the guitarist has also lived in Hawaii, Germany and California. He currently resides in Tokyo, Japan.
