A staged reading of the horror classic, A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors with Robert Englund, the Dream Warriors and friends.

About this Event
A once-in-a-lifetime staged reading of the 1987 slasher classic, “A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors” performed by the iconic actors from the original film as well as friends of the 35-year “Nightmare” legacy. Proceeds will benefit the Didi Hirsch Mental Health Services, dedicated to helping teens and transforming lives since 1942.

A portion of each ticket is tax deductible.

The all star cast includes Robert Englund as Freddy Krueger; Heather Langenkamp as Nancy Thompson and Ira Heiden, Rodney Eastman, Bradley Gregg, Penelope Sudrow as the Dream Warriors. Special appearances by: Director Chuck Russell, Brooke Bundy, Amanda Wyss, Tuesday Knight, Brooke Theiss, Steven Caffrey, Bill Allen, Byron Thames & more!

Tickets go on sale August 12.

40 VIP tickets at $300 will be available that offer preferred seating, a special souvenir signed by Robert Englund and the Nightmare actors plus an opportunity to take photos with the cast after the reading.

65 General Admission Seats at $100 will be for sale as well.

The doors open at 12:30. The performance starts at 1:00 pm. There will be a fifteen minute intermission.

Drinks will be for sale at the Whisky-A-Go-Go Bar.

To raise additional funds there will be a raffle and a silent auction that will offer items to the highest bidder.

Buy your tickets early. This event will sell out.

Dokken “It’s Just Another Day” Video Premiere w/ Don, George Lynch, Jeff Pilson, Mick Brown

Dokken, featuring original members Don Dokken, George Lynch, Jeff Pilson and Mick Brown, just premiered a video for their new song “It’s Just Another Day.”  Listen to the track below.

In 2016, the classic lineup reunited to play the world famous Loud Park Festival in Japan. The performance was filmed and, on April 20th, will be released on CD/DVD. Titled Return To The East Live, this set also features footage from the classic lineup’s only US reunion show of 2016 in Sioux Falls, SD at Badlands.

Don Dokken says, “After 25 years, it was great to reunite with George and Jeff and Mick and do a couple shows for the fans. We hope you like this album and video. There’s a lot of great bonus footage of us having fun, so enjoy it!”

Bassist Jeff Pilson on the forthcoming release, “I’m so thrilled this piece of the Dokken story is hitting the streets! What a magical experience it has been and this CD/DVD captures a lot of that wonderful manic energy that has always made Dokken so vital! Jack Russell & Don Dokken @ Whisky A Go Go – Great White “On Your Knees”

I’m not sure everyone can appreciate the monumental moment happening here, but I know you’re out there.  A reunion of sorts went down on February 3, 2017 at the Whisky A Go Go when Don Dokken joined Jack Russell on stage to sing the early Great White classic, “On Your Knees.”

Jack’s intro sums up the ’80s, “this was a love song in 1982.” It’s about halfway through the track that Don walks on stage.

Don Dokken was an essential player in Great White’s early history. He was listed as a producer on their first independent EP, Out of the Night(1983), as well as being credited with back up vocals and as a co-writer on the track “On Your Knees.”  The song was appeared on Out of the Night and was also re-recorded for their self-titled major label debut. There’s just something so raw and pure and so L.A. about Great White’s 1982-1984 era.  A great moment in history went down and I just wanted to acknowledge it. -DPJ

KXM: Recording New Album – ft. Korn, Dokken, King’s X Members

KXM, the supergroup featuring bassist/vocalist dUg Pinnick (King’s X), guitarist George Lynch (Dokken, Lynch Mob) and drummer Ray Luzier (Korn), started recording their third album today at Steakhouse Recording Studios in North Hollywood. According to Lynch, the band is “writing and tracking live.”

KXM released their sophomore effort, Scatterbrain, on March 17, 2017.  The album peaked at #81 in the United States on the Billboard 200 chart.

Guitarist George Lynch posted the picture below, on his Instagram, of an upcoming Snake Hunter (Black Limba) guitar from his Mr Scary guitar series. The Snake Hunter line is described as: “Absolutely the epitome of the awesome presence that is a Mr. Scary guitar. Fearsome craftsmanship with hand-laid snakeskin, custom center inlay featuring hand-carved bone skulls and snake fang fret marker inlays.”
