Soundgarden, Pearl Jam Members Form New Side Project
Members of Pearl Jam and Soundgarden have launched another side project, recruiting members of Queens of the Stone Age and Screaming Trees, as well. Called the Ten Commandos, the band features drummer Matt Cameron, who handles the skins for both Pearl Jam and Soundgarden, as well as Soundgarden bassist Ben Shepherd and Queens of the Stone Age guitarist Mark Lanegan. Handling the vocals in the outfit is Screaming Trees frontman Alain Johannes. The band is slated to release its debut single, titled “Staring Down the Dust”, on Friday, and hopes to drop their debut set next month.
