Pinegrove Announce 2017 Tour Dates
Beginning next month, indie rockers Pinegrove will be hitting the road for a North American trek. The New Jersey group will launch the tour in Pittsburgh, PA on July 13th at Cattivo. A complete list of dates can be found below.
Pinegrove recently dropped their second full-length studio album, Cardinal, which was named one of the Best 50 Albums of 2016 by NPR. The first single from that album, called ‘Old Friends’, can be heard via the embedded clip above.
On January 20, 2017, the group released Elsewhere, a live album whose proceeds are being donated to the Southern Poverty Law Center. Lead vocalist/guitarist Evan Stephens Hall said the release was “intended as a thank you letter to everybody who supported us in any way.” He continued, “We felt consequently that it’s an especially good time to do what we can to promote love & equality. As a small gesture of commitment to the cause, this album is available for free or donation, & all profits will be donated to the Southern Poverty Law Center.”
