Megadeth’s David Ellefson Lays Down Bass Track On Unreleased Gar Samuelson Song – Fatal Opera III – Combat Records – 2020

David Ellefson: Last week I recorded bass to an unreleased Gar Samuelson song with his band FATAL OPERA, which also features his brother Stuart and Chris Poland on guitars and Thom Hazaert on backing vocals. The track sounds amazing and it was so fun to revisit Gar’s performances after so many years (he passed in 1999). It was also the first time I recorded this reissue 30th Anniversary RIP signature bass by Jackson! It has amazing versatility and playability…I’m very happy with the results! The album FATAL OPERA III will be released on Combat Records later this year. Check it out!
