Hear Lissie’s New Song ‘Boyfriend’ + 2017 Tour Dates Cancelled

American singer-songwriter Lissie just debuted her new track, ‘Boyfriend’, which can now be heard via the embedded clip above. It’s the first new music from the artist since her 2016 album My Wild West. “This song came very naturally and quickly as I was writing with longtime collaborator Martin Craft and the brilliant Liam Howe,” Lissie stated about the new track. “It was interesting to be laying almost country like lyrics, reflecting my farm life in Iowa, atop a very sultry, smooth and what I think is a pretty hip track! I hope people can appreciate a bit of a different sonic quality from me as I’m working on an album that will be a bit of a fresh, new sound.”
