Farewell Trevor Strnad, The Black Dahlia Murder Vocalist Dies @ 41 – 2022 – Tributes

The Black Dahlia Murder: It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Trevor Scott Strnad. Beloved son, brother, and Shepard of good times, he was loved by all that met him. A walking encyclopedia of all things music. He was a hugger, a writer, and truly one of the worldโs greatest entertainers. His lyrics provided the world with stories and spells and horror and whimsy. It was his life to be your show.

So sad to hear about the passing of Trevor from The Black Dahlia Murder. Absolutely horrible. He was such a sweet guy. Had him on my podcast about 10 months ago, he was very open about struggling with depression. Itโs a sad day for the Metal community

Trevor Strnad was such a tremendous force in the Metal scene. Not just as a frontman, but as an asset to the community. The amount of work that man put in lifting up smaller bands in the underground was unmatched. He was an encyclopaedia of all things in the underground scene pic.twitter.com/SNj3iaMc2X

RIP Trevor Strnad. One of my favorite death metal vocalists. I saw you rip it at my first Mayhem Festival and again years later in a sold out Local 506. It's one thing for your heroes to start going. But it's another thing to lose them to suicide. https://t.co/3hQokdOwl4

Trevor Strnad was so passionate for extreme metal and finding/promoting new bands, I've always looked up to him for that. Completely heart broken right now

Crushed to hear about Trevor Strnadโs passing. He and Black Dahlia Murder have been the gateway drug for many death metal junkies, myself included. Rest easy. \m/

Straight up crying right now. RIP Trevor Strnad. With your appreciation for extreme music, it reached a global audience that may have never seen it without your devotion to the craft. Forever thankful for your inspiration and legacy, dawg.
