Did Randy Rhoads Use Drugs Before or During Concerts? – Rudy Sarzo Weighs In

When a Twitter user commented about an Ozzy Osbourne concert from 1981, saying Randy Rhoads was playing fast and that his cocaine use before the show might’ve been the reason, former bandmate Rudy Sarzo wasted little time coming to Rhoads’ defense:

Rudy Sarzo: “Let me make this perfectly clear.  I never ever witnessed Randy Rhoads under the influence of drugs or alcohol before or during a show.”

Prior to joining Ozzy’s band, Sarzo and Rhoads played side-by-side in an early version of Quiet Riot.
