In an Instagram post, Charlyn Marie “Chan” Marshall, better known by her stage name Cat Power, proclaimed: “TENTH ALBUM READY TO GO”. No additional details were given.
The forthcoming album will be the first full-length effort by Cat Power since 2012’s Sun, which entered the Billboard 200 chart at #10 with first week sales of over 23,000 copies, becoming her first top ten album in the US. It was also ranked by Rolling Stone magazine as one of the “50 Best Albums of 2012”. Her track “Cherokee” is located above.
