Just thought I’d update those of you who have been curious about my prostate cancer diagnosis last year, of which I finished treatments for back in July.
This morning, I just had a follow up with my oncologist. From his mouth – I am in total remission!

Floor Jansen:
Great news! I am cancer free 🤩 The surgery took everything cancerous out and it hasn’t spread! I’ll get local radiation therapy in February to make sure everything stays out.
I’m getting my energy back after the surgery and feel a huge relief to know it was successful! I’m not back to a 100% but I have no doubt the shows will give me the power push I need to rock with all of you on the upcoming European tour 🤘🏻
Thank you for your amazing support and well wishes 🙏🏻🙏🏻

Taylor Dayne, we have done several shows together over the years & always have an incredible time. My heart, soul & prayers are with you & your family through this. I know you have a warrior fighting spirit to win this battle.

Wow, I barely have the words to express how thankful I am to have shared my story on @goodmorningamerica this morning 🫶🏼✨♥️ Thank you, for giving me a platform to shed light on the importance of our health and really sharing my story this past year with my news of Colon Cancer pic.twitter.com/nMgPpNTYwU

Coldplay:
With deep regret, we’ve been forced to postpone our upcoming shows in Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo until early 2023.
Due to a serious lung infection, Chris has been put under strict doctor’s orders to rest for the next three weeks.
We’re working as fast as possible to lock in the new dates and will follow up with more information in the next few days.
To everyone in Brazil who was looking forward to these concerts, we’re extremely sorry for any disappointment and inconvenience, and we’re so grateful for your understanding at this challenging time where we need to prioritize Chris’s health.
Please hold onto your tickets as they will be valid for the new rescheduled dates. These will happen in early 2023 and will be announced very soon. However, we will also honor all requests for ticket refunds – which will be available at the point of sale.
We’re optimistic that Chris will return to good health after the prescribed medical break and look forward to resuming the tour as soon as possible.
To everyone affected, please accept our sincere apologies, and thank you as always for your love and support.

Paul Stanley:
Cryotherapy!!!! -200 degrees Fahrenheit! That’s -94 degrees Celsius right? No clothes! Shrinkage of inflammation… And everything else!

Cryotherapy, sometimes known as cold therapy, is the local or general use of low temperatures in medical therapy. Cryotherapy may be used to treat a variety of tissue lesions.
Cryotherapy is used in an effort to relieve muscle pain, sprains and swelling after soft tissue damage or surgery. For decades, it has been commonly used to accelerate recovery in athletes after exercise. Cryotherapy decreases the temperature of tissue surface to minimize hypoxic cell death, edema accumulation, and muscle spasms, all of which ultimately alleviate discomfort and inflammation. It can be a range of treatments from the application of ice packs or immersion in ice baths (generally known as cold therapy), to the use of cold chambers.
While cryotherapy is widely used, there is little evidence as to its efficacy that has been replicated by or shown in large, controlled studies. Its long-term side effects have also not been studied. However, there is a study that concludes that cryotherapy has a positive impact on the short-term recovery of athletes. Cryotherapy helped manage muscle soreness and facilitate recovery within the first 24 hours following a sport-related activity. Athletes who use cryotherapy within the first 24 hours to alleviate pain recovered at a faster rate than athletes who did not use cryotherapy after their sport-related activity.
There are different types of cryochambers, each with different mechanisms of action and uses. The Partial-Body Cryotherapy (PBC) makes use of nitrogen to decrease the temperature. This cryochamber is an individual, tube-shaped enclosure that covers a person’s body with an open-top to keep the head at room temperature.
The second cryochamber is called the whole-body cryotherapy (WBC) and makes use of electricity to reduce the temperature inside the chamber. In contrast to the first, the user fully enters the electrically operated chamber.
This is a specific type of low-temperature treatment used to reduce inflammation and painful effects.

St. Louis, I love you & want to thank you all for your incredible amount of well wishes and prayers.
Although I am not fully recovered from my medical setback, I’m going to be on that stage tonight and give all I’ve got for as long as I got.
Unfortunately, to save up the energy for the show, I will not be able to do one of my favorite things which is meeting, greeting and hanging with the fans at the VIP. But all the other guys will be there and it will be a lot of fun.
I encourage you to enjoy the meet & greet and the show. Thank you for being patient with me as I make a full recovery! St. Louis rocks.

St. Louis – nothin’ but a good vibe tonight. It was a party & as you see by the picture I gave it all I had like I promised, but ended in a super hypoglycemic low. A little oxygen & soon I’ll be back to 1000%. #TheStadiumTour @Cardinals pic.twitter.com/vsiUstab33

Nita Strauss: I highly recommend RP Strength to anyone looking to get started!! Very sustainable and flexible programming, amazing results with plenty of food so you’re never hungry – I’ve had wonderful success with them in the past!

I need a meal plan. Been talking about losing weight for 2 years. The more I talk. The more I gain.

Dee Snider: Getting a colonoscopy today. Been doing the “prep” for the last 12 hours. Those who’ve been there know what I am talking about.
I can’t stop singing “Here I Go Again” by Whitesnake. Thanks for nothin’ David Coverdale! 😉
David Coverdale: Good Luck, Ol’ Son…Comes To Us All, Bro…XXX
Everything is AOK! Thanks for everyone's love, concern, support and sense of humor. It really is important that we all get colonoscopies when we get older. We need all the ol' school rockers we can get! https://t.co/hA3uZDRFQl

Sebastian Bach: In the spirit of Ms Britney Spears, here is a picture of me just waking up today looking in the mirror. Why am I posting this? For one simple reason: I have lost around 35 pounds since August 2021. Am I exactly where I want to be? Not yet. Am I heading in the right direction? You better believe it. Rock n’ roll does a body good! So does completely changing your diet and exercising as much as possible. #Yoga ✌️ running 🦶 and always remember that abs are made in the kitchen! I will be 54 years old in April. If I can do it, so can you! I am not letting up for anything.

Maynard J Keenan: Today is my wife’s Birthday. #licoricelust I’m going to guess that it will be viewed as her favorite. In late Nov she felt a lump in her breast. On X-mas eve, she was diagnosed with cancer. She didn’t collapse into a pile of self pity. She didn’t launch into an entitlement rage.
She didn’t act out in any self-destructive manner. Instead she asked the right questions, listened to her doctors, made a plan, and stuck to it. And when there were things she couldn’t do on her own, she asked for help. Before the chemo could take her hair, she cut it all off and had our friend Brook make her a wig to match. And then she went to work. No one was the wiser. She’s successfully navigated both the chemo and the surgery, and now begins the radiation. And all without whining or bitching. She is my rock. She is my muse. She is my ALL.
Be like Jen. Happy Birthday, My Love. Cheers to this one and many more.

A message from Tom Petersson:
Hi everyone,
You may have noticed that I was sitting down during Stephen Colbert’s Late Show performance last night. I had to have open heart surgery a month ago and am under doctor’s orders to take it easy. I’m currently recuperating and slowly but surely getting stronger every day. Can’t wait to get back to see all of you again soon.

Vinnie Moore: I was recording some new songs a couple weeks back and was going to post about it, but started not feeling so well and unfortunately tested positive for covid. Feeling better now but have been really tired. In fact, I have become a world champion at napping….. which is frustrating because I hate napping. Biggest waste of time ever. 🤣
Be careful, everyone, and Happy Holidays.
I’ll be back soon with music news.
