Sound on Sound Fest Lineup Announced – Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Grizzly Bear, Iggy Pop, The Shins to Headline

Playing their first live gig since 2013, the Yeah Yeah Yeahs are set to headline this year’s Sound on Sound Fest. Other featured headliners include Grizzly Bear, Iggy Pop, The Shins, Blood Orange and Electric Wizard. A complete list of performers can be found at this location.

The Sound on Sound Fest takes place Nov. 10-12 at Sherwood Forest, 35 miles east of downtown Austin. Sherwood Forest is home to the beloved and annual Sherwood Forest Faire which pays tribute to the time of Richard the Lionheart and Robin Hood & his Merry Men.

Hidden away in the Lost Pines region of Central Texas, Sherwood Forest is a 23 acre medieval-style village, comprised of 100+ permanent structures. Multiple acres of additional land surrounding the village are set aside for camping, and as a “buffer to preserve the ambiance of our sanctuary from the outside world.”

Founded by Austin-based promotions company Margin Walker Presents and produced by Funhouse Services and Sound on Sound Event Services, SOS Fest is home to three music stages showcasing emerging and established talent from the worlds of indie, punk, hip hop, metal, and dance music, as well as comedy.
