Saxon’s Biff Byford Responds to Nikki Sixx UFO Cover Band Tweet

Yesterday, former Motley Crue bassist Nikki Sixx tweeted: “Who wants to start a UFO cover band with me?” Less than 24 hours later, Saxon vocalist Biff Byford responded by throwing his hat in the ring: “I’ll do it if I can play bass.”

Highly influenced by the group, a recent tweet from Sixx stated: “Top 10 bass players? (Any style ) One my big influences was Pete Way from UFO.”
