New Album from Michael McDonald in September – 2017 Tour Dates

On September 15, 2017, Michael McDonald (Doobie Brothers, Steely Dan) will release Wide Open, his first studio album in nearly a decade and his first album of original material in nearly two decades. The new recording features an all-star cast with guest appearances by guitar legend Robben Ford, saxophonist Branford Marsalis, Warren Haynes (Allman Brothers Band, Gov’t Mule) and bassist Marcus Miller (Miles Davis, Herbie Hancock, Eric Clapton). Written over a period of several years, the album was recorded at McDonald’s studio in Nashville, TN with drummer Shannon Forrest (Toto) and some of the city’s best session players.
