John McLaughlin to Launch Final U.S. Tour w/ Jimmy Herring 2017, NY, CA

John McLaughlin bids farewell to America, the birthplace of The Legendary Mahavishnu Orchestra. On this last long haul with the 4th Dimension, he invites one his favorite guitarist Jimmy Herring and his band The Invisible Whip. Along with celebrating the music of Mahavishnu, the performances will celebrate and pay respects to many dear friends we lost in recent times, Paco De Lucia, Mandolin U Shrinivas, Col. Bruce Hampton, Larry Coryell, Allan Holdsworth, Greg Allman , John Abercrombie, Butch Trucks among others. Their spirit lives among us all and we will remember them every night in our music.
