Jack White has teamed up with the Avett Brothers, Robert Redford and T-Bone Burnett on a new documentary series about the early days of the American recording industry. Dubbed American Epic, the six-part series will air on PBS in the fall. The series premiered last Thursday at the Sundance Film Festival and the soundtrack features classic American folk songs performed by the Avett Brothers.
