Good fun ahead!
I got a phone call from my old great dear friend of 40 years plus, Mr. Nicko McBrain, 4 days back. We enjoyed a fabulous catch-up call that ended up 2 hours’ time.
I love that man.
We go back 40 years. I first met the guys in Maiden in 1982.
We had a great talk, a lot about music, playing drums, golfing, aches and pains lol. Yeah, I’m at 3rd rung to the top baby! 31 more to 95!
Well, I’m on my way with my son Marcus, and two friends, where we will rendezvous with Nicko Mcbrain around 7 PM this evening here in Southern California in Anaheim at the Honda Center. Last time I was at the Honda Center was Marcus’s 21st birthday in 2004 hanging out with Mike Anthony and Sammy Hagar.
However, really Looking forward to Nicko giving me a tour of his drum kit!
Hope to say hi to Steve H and the boys.
Excited to go to a fking old school “Metal” big arena gig.
