Eric Burdon: I’m sorry Amsterdam. We would have loved nothing more than to play for you tonight. Sometimes in the music business, promoters try and take advantage of artists. After flying our entire production crew, bandmates, and myself out for tonight’s show to start this leg of the tour, the promoter failed to come through. For all of us.
Nevertheless, we still showed up, willing and able to perform in the Netherlands and Germany in hopes the promoter would prove to be honorable. I am terribly embarrassed and feel awful for the inconvenience this has caused all of you. As of now, the rest of the German tour dates are cancelled and the matter has been turned over to the appropriate authorities. Regardless, I will do my best to reschedule to make it up to you all.
