Dallas International Guitar & Music Festival May 5-7 2017 @ Dallas Market Hall, Ted Nugent, George Lynch, Gary Hoey
The 40th annual Dallas International Guitar & Music Festival will be held May 5-7 2017 at Dallas Market Hall. From its humble beginnings in a small meeting room of a Dallas hotel in 1978, to 140,000 square feet of display space at Dallas Market Hall today, the Dallas International Guitar Festival celebrates 40 years of bringing guitar dealers, manufacturers, collectors, celebrities and music enthusiasts together. You can purchase tickets at this location.
There will be artists in attendance, performing and mingling with the attendees throughout three days of guitar heaven. A list of performers can be found below. FYI, I just watched a Facebook Live video with Seymour Duncan who is there hand winding pickups. In the video, Duncan talks about guitarist Andy Timmons and even talks about the legendary Bugs Henderson. Very cool, indeed! That video is embedded at the bottom of this article. Earlier today, I saw a video with George Lynch and Derek St. Holmes hanging out and jamming. This is the original guitar show, the first of its kind in the nation.
