Bob Dylan’s D-28 Martin Guitar Sold at Auction

Bob Dylan’s 1963 Martin D-28 acoustic guitar just sold via Heritage Auctions for $396,500. The folk singer played the guitar on his Rolling Thunder Revue tour (’75-’76) and at George Harrison’s Concert for Bangladesh in 1971.
The guitar has been owned by Larry Cragg, a guitar tech who worked with Dylan in the past, since 1977. Cragg purchased the guitar from Dylan for a mere $500.
