What Hit Parader Magazine Thought of Van Halen in 1979

Greg Renoff: EXHIBIT A – for the case I was making in Van Halen Rising about how few people in the industry (even inside WB, yikes) believed that Van Halen could make it big. To the ears of the uninitiated, VH *seemed* like a rehash of early 70s hard rock ~ metal.
