Dr. No releases yet another invention to add to his unique unconventional collection of handmade guitar effects, The TURD Fuzz.
The TURD Fuzz is a shit-shaped pedal (making it a shitty pedal indeed) made of soft foam material, that when stepped on, engages an excellent fuzz effect. The handmade circuit contains a pair of two NOS transistors that generate a nasty old-fashioned fuzz tone that works well with guitar and bass guitar. It’s also equipped with one single internal volume potentiometer that can be tuned with a tiny flat screwdriver – works on a 9v external 2.1mm power-supply.
To top it off, the TURD Fuzz comes with a custom made fly that functions as an on/off indicator. The insect’s eyes light up when stepped on, engaging the effect.
Housed in a custom designed TURD Fuzz box, the pedal is a collaboration between Dr. No and friend/artist Peter van Elderen (Peter Pan Speedrock, Home Steel).
