Gladiator Colosseum 2018 Movie Screening w/ Russell Crowe

Russell Crowe:  “I will be at the Colosseum Wednesday June 6…I will be at Circus Maximus June 8 and 9.
Come and see the movie Gladiator screened in these spectacular historical venues with a live Orchestra and choir and the amazing Lisa Gerrard.”

Gladiator will be screened at the Colosseum on June 6, 2018 for a charity event that will be attended by Russell Crowe.  The soundtrack will be played live by the Italian cinema orchestra in sync with the dialogue.   The cineconcert will be repeated twice at Circo Massimo on June 8th and 9th.

The event will raise money for  ”End Polio Now,’  which has already raised $1.7 billion  to vaccinate children across the globe.

Randy Newman Cancels 2018 Tour- Dates Cancelled

Randy Newman has scrapped his forthcoming 2018 tour due to a severe knee condition that needs to undergo surgery.  In a statement, the songwriter said: “I feel terrible about having to cancel these dates. I was looking forward to playing. I apologize for whatever inconvenience I might have caused.”

Newman  released Dark Matter, his eleventh studio album of original material, on August 4, 2017.  Produced by David Boucher, Mitchell Froom and Lenny Waronkerhe, the album peaked at #106 in the United States on the Billboard 200.

Since the ’80s, Newman has mostly worked as a film composer, scoring films like Awakenings, The Natural, Leatherheads, Meet the Parents, Cold Turkey, and Ragtime. He has also scored several Disney-Pixar animated films, including Toy Story, A Bug’s Life, Toy Story 2, Monsters, Inc., Cars, Toy Story 3, Monsters University, and Cars 3, as well as Disney’s The Princess and the Frog and James and the Giant Peach.

Gary Clark Jr “Come Together” Justice League Soundtrack

Gary Clark Jr. just released a new video for his cover of The Beatles classic “Come Together.”  The track will appear on the soundtrack for the DC/Warner Brothers film, Justice League, in theaters November 17th.

‘It’ Film Soundtrack – Stephen King – Listen, Purchase, CD, LP, Vinyl, Trailer

On September 8, 2017, WaterTower Music released the official soundtrack for the new film adaptation of Stephen King’s ‘It’. Featuring music composed by Benjamin Wallfisch (Annabelle: Creation, Hidden Figures, Blade Runner 2049), the album was released digitally and as a 2-CD set, with a vinyl version being released on October 27th. ‘It’ was released in theaters nationwide on September 8th via Warner Brothers. The horror thriller shattered box office records after taking in a whopping $123 million on opening weekend.
