An AI‑powered version of Ozzy Osbourne is being developed that lets fans “ask Ozzy a question” and get responses generated in his voice and persona, using recordings and data from across his career as training material. The project is being positioned as a way to keep Ozzy present and interactive for fans even as his health has limited his ability to tour and do long in‑person appearances. One of the ideas on the table is for this AI Ozzy to make a first UK appearance in Birmingham, his hometown, tying the technology to his roots rather than just rolling it out online.

The system aims to capture not just his speaking tone but also his sense of humor, storytelling style, and history, so that fans can ask about everything from Black Sabbath and solo albums to life anecdotes and get answers that feel like they are coming from Ozzy himself. At the same time, the people behind it are presenting it as a carefully controlled use of his likeness, managed with his family’s involvement, rather than a free‑for‑all deepfake. Used alongside video, it opens the door to virtual Q&As, museum‑style installations, or live events where the “AI Ozzy” can respond to audience questions in real time while the real Ozzy appears only briefly or not at all.
