Comedy icon Will Ferrell is coming to Seattle’s Moore Theatre for “One Classy Night” – a very special evening to benefit the charity Cancer for College. The event features Ferrell and a panel of acclaimed musicians including singer/songwriter Brandi Carlile along with a pair of Rock and Roll Hall of Famers in guitarist Mike McCready of Pearl Jam and drummer Chad Smith of Red Hot Chili Peppers. The audience will be invited to sit in on the discussion as this super group chats about the music that has influenced their lives and some of their favorite musical memories from their storied careers. The evening will conclude with a very special performance as the musicians rock out to their favorite songs for an incredible once in a lifetime experience.
Cancer for College was founded in 1993 by two-time cancer survivor Craig Pollard. He saw firsthand the emotional, physical, and financial impact the disease can have on a family. Since inception, the charity has granted over 1,100 scholarships and awarded more than $2.5 million to cancer survivors.
