Michael Nesmith: Chris Darrow died this morning. Hard to explain his life, and harder to express my sense of loss. He was an artist and he had a vision…like almost no other.
Christopher Lloyd Darrow is an American multi-instrumentalist and singer-songwriter. He is considered to be a pioneer of country rock music in the late sixties, and performed and recorded with numerous groups including Kaleidoscope and the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band. –Wikipedia
You can need me
Well I want you to
And you can feed me
I would like that too
But don’t you lead me
I won’t follow you
Listen here
I don’t fear
I don’t want to be your
Whipping boy
