Iron Maiden Bring ‘Run For Your Lives’ Tour to Hellfest

Iron Maiden stormed Hellfest in Clisson, France on June 19 as part of the band’s Run For Your Lives world tour, delivering a headlining set built around material from the first nine Maiden albums.

Scheduled for a 21:00 to 23:10 slot on Mainstage 1, the performance was billed by Hellfest as one of the standout events of the weekend, with the band celebrating 50 years of music and bringing a production-heavy show focused on the classic era from Iron Maiden through Fear of the Dark.

The set reportedly included fan favorites and deep cuts such as “Murders in the Rue Morgue,” “Killers,” “Phantom of the Opera,” “Infinite Dreams,” “Rime of the Ancient Mariner,” “The Trooper,” “Hallowed Be Thy Name,” “Aces High,” “Fear of the Dark,” and “Wasted Years.”

For longtime fans, it was another major stop on a tour built to spotlight Maiden’s early catalog, with the Hellfest crowd getting a set that leaned heavily into the band’s most revered first decade.
