An RIAA certified “Gold” Sales Award presented to guitarist George Lynch to commemorate the sale of more than 500,000 albums and cassette copies for Dokken’s 1987 studio album Back for the Attack.

Back for the Attack is Dokken at both their commercial peak and their breaking point. Released in 1987, it became their highest‑charting album in the U.S., hitting the Top 20 on the Billboard 200 and eventually going platinum, powered by “Dream Warriors” from A Nightmare on Elm Street 3, “Burning Like a Flame,” and deep‑cut fan favorites like “Kiss of Death” and “Prisoner.” The sessions and tour were riddled with tension: Don Dokken and George were barely speaking, creative control and credit were constant battlegrounds, and the band essentially fell apart not long after scoring their biggest success.

Released on November 2, 1987, through Elektra Records.

The black leather jacket features a sherpa collar, partial lining, and silver-tone hardware, with patches on the back that feature a skull and playing cards, as well as “LA ROCKA!,” “100,” “MPH,” and “LONDON.” Made by La Rocka!. No size present.

According to the consignor, Lynch bought the jacket sometime in the 1980s in London while on tour with Dokken.
