Mötley Crüe’s Nikki Sixx seems to be making a habit of blocking fans on social media for being overly critical of himself or the band. With many people choosing sides, criticism has been pouring in after Mick Mars revealed that the group not only played to pre-recorded tracks on the recent Stadium Tour but also claimed that Nikki mimed his bass parts, saying they were 100% pre-recorded. Last Thursday, Mars filed a lawsuit against his bandmates in response to a 2022 disagreement, which resulted after the guitarist informed the group that he would be retiring from touring due to his ongoing battle with Ankylosing Spondylitis (AS). According to a copy of the lawsuit, Mars says the band subsequently attempted to oust him altogether and diminish any future payments to which he claims he is entitled. He is asking seven corporate organizations connected to Mötley Crüe to turn over information pertaining to their commercial activities. More info on the lawsuit @ this location.

More rock star glamour: Walked to Target to get nail clippers and nose hair trimmer. Employees were right on me asking for selfies and telling me they love me. Two minutes later I get hit with a major urge to take a shit. They tell me, “Bathroom is downstairs.” I go there but ten people in line, I’m about to soil my trousers. I go to employees and plead; “Please can I use employee’s bathroom?” They say, “No, employees only.” I run across the street to some cafe and ask to use bathroom (on the way there a guy waiting outside tells me I’m an asshole for not stopping to take a selfie with him) the cafe lady threatens to call security on me for politely asking for bathroom. I made it by the skin of my teeth to a restaurant a few blocks away. Back to hotel to practice trumpet.

In 1994, Sabbath played a show in Fulda, Germany. But to do the show, a righteous dude from the church had to approve what we were doing! So, he came to a show to see if we were sacrificing any of the local maidens and decided that what we did was acceptable and said we could do it, but they had to censor the posters because you can’t have a burning angel … Apparently …
Anyway, Fulda was the only show that had the censor and it was a crocodile with its mouth open. … So, you can eat an angel, but you can’t burn one!!.. Ohhhhkay. I found in my collection a couple of these posters ….
I love that they even censored the little thumbnail of the album cover at the bottom… Just to make sure.
